Title: Medical Technique Demonstration
Description: A specialist from Mexico City, Mexico, is demonstrating a technique to skillfully extract the tonsils of a child patient with added safety and less shock. Doctors from City-County Hospital crowded in the operating room to observe the surgery. The two doctors at the center in scrubs are the specialist, Dr. Efren Marin, and Dr. J. W. Major. At the patient's head is Mrs. Clifford Search, the anesthetist. Dr. Marin is the head of the eye, ear, nose, and throat department of Mexico City's Hospital Infantil. He attended the University of Mexico and the University of Paris. In the United States he studied at Tulane, John Hopkins, and Columbia. Dr. Major is an intern at Fort Worth's City-County Hospital.
