Description: The second annual District 3-AA football banquet is being held in Sweetwater, Texas. The guest of honor is Coach Jess Neely. He is the head coach of Orange Bowl bound Rice University. Sitting in the bleachers, left to right, on the front row are John Dibrell, Coach Neely, Pat Gerald, and Von Rhea Beane. On the back row are Jim Neill, Pete Shotwell, Clayton Hopkins, and Barnes Milam. Mr. Dibrell, of Big Spring, Texas, is wearing a tweed suit. Coach Neely is dressed in a three-piece suit. Mr. Gerald, of Sweetwater, is wearing a three-piece, pinstripe suit. Mr. Beane, of San Angelo, Texas, is dressed in a light-colored suit. Mr. Neill, of Lamesa, Texas, is wearing a pinstripe suit. Mr. Shotwell, of Abilene, Texas, is dressed in a dark suit. Mr. Hopkins, is the Athletic Director in Odessa, Texas. He is wearing a pinstripe suit. Mr. Milam, of Midland, Texas, is dressed in a dark suit. The coaches are shown enjoying drinks and plates of food while they talk about football.
