Description: Volunteers with the American Red Cross are making 600 gingham dresses, 250 pairs of shorts, and 250 boys' overalls. Cutting the material, left to right, are Sam Herzfeld, Manfred H. Herzfeld, and Mrs. Sarah Bunch. The Herzfeld Manufacturing Company is lending their cutting machine for the project. Sam Herzfeld is the owner of the company. He is dressed in a dark, double breasted suit. Manfred Herzfeld is giving a demonstration of the cutting machine. He is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, and trousers. Mrs. Bunch is a Red Cross chairman. She is wearing a dark dress. The finished clothes will be sent to Red Cross depots overseas.
