In the picture, Paschal's Phillips (15) tries to grab the loose ball with his arms wide open while looking at the basketball net amidst the ball struggle. Left of Phillips is Thomas and to the right is Burdett, then far right is Pachal's Ohlen. There are other unidentified players on the court and the referee on the extreme left. All the players are wearing their school's jersey, socks with sneakers, and some have knee pads. Paschal won with late rally, 37-34. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 8, 1948.
