Title: State Semifinals - Highland Park vs. Odessa
Description: The Texas State high school semifinal game is being played Saturday afternoon in Odessa, Texas. Competing for a berth into the finals are the Highland Park Scots and the Odessa Bronchos (dark jerseys). In the second quarter of the game, Scot receiver Rusty Russell (80) is shown bringing down a high pass from Fred Benners. The competition was good for a first down at the thirty-two yard-line. Coming up short in his effort to block the pass is Bronchos center Glenn Taylor (10). The deep defenders are guard Herman Foster (25) and Harvey "Pug" Gabrel (20). The Odessa Bronchos went on to win the game 31-13 and win the state title.
