Title: UTA Winter Olympics
Creator: Blackwell, Dale (Photographer)
Description: It was Winter Olympics time at University of Texas at Arlington, but don't let the name fool you. The events, instead of the ski jump, figure skating and barrel jumping, were slightly different. Included were ice cream eating, performed by Jorja Jackson, left, of Grand Prairie and Mary Walsh. The Olympics is an annual affair pitting members of UTA sororities and girls' social clubs in various bizarre, and generally sloppy, events. Published in Fort Worth Star Telegram evening edition November 22, 1968.
