Description: Image shows ROTC Staff Sergeant Michael Kepler, on radio equipment, participating in helicopter safety exercises at the University of Texas at Arlington. A helicopter from the 300th Aviation Company from Oak Grove Airport was used in the training, designed to prepare ROTC cadets from UTA's military science department for a weekend of simulated combat at Ft. Wolters. A number of UTA faculty and students were given rides in the helicopter over the campus and the city. Published in Fort Worth Star Telegram morning edition November 22, 1974.
