Title: Ceilia Johnson and Julie Newmeyer
Description: Contestants here for the Miss Texas Pageant put in a day that would make a strong man cringe. Celia Johnson, Miss Fort Worth, was snapped by a photographer as she waved at crowds during the morning parade. One clothes change and a couple of hours later she attended a luncheon with other contestants and chaperons. Her smile was a bit less bright as she paused to rub an aching foot during rehearsals at Will Rodgers Memorial Auditorium. And in still another outfit she talked over beauty tips with Julie Newmeyer, visiting movie starlet. When the last picture was made Celia still faced the opening night performance of the pageant.
