Description: William Locklin, 25, used a .22 caliber bolt action rifle when two men attempted to enter his quarters early Sunday at the rear of his newly-purchased tavern at 3527 1/2 E. Belknap. Albert Harcrow, 48, died of wounds on Monday and Leon Kitchens, 34, is in serious condition. Locklin shows the door lock broken in the entry. Published in Fort Worth Star Telegram morning edition April 26, 1954.
