Description: A photo of Hoyt M. Paxton, 53 was wounded fatally at midnight when he entered his 10-room home, at 2212 Fairway Dr. in Rolling Hills. Paxton was shot in the chest after a scuffle with intruders waiting in the house. He died at 3:50 am in a hospital. Mrs. Larue Hall, a divorcee who is mother of four children, was knocked unconscious by the bandits, and was recovering from head wounds at her home. Published in Fort Worth Star Telegram evening edition July 6, 1954
