Mike Moncrief, at the time a Texas State Senator, sends his regrets to Coach Jim Hayes for having to miss the 1992 National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament games due to Senate business. Mr. Moncrief also suggests that Mr. Hayes contact Karen Abernathy, Governor Ann Richards appointment secretary, perhaps to invite her to the Tournament.
