Description:
Dr. Gary E. Miller was named Commissioner of the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation at a meeting of the Department's board in December 1981. A letter from Mr. Beck to Senator Andujar informs the Senator of the appointment. In turn, Senator Andujar replies, offering the new Commissioner any assistance as may be needed.
