In this article, Jim Hayes at the beginning of his advising career at UTA and his efforts as an advocate for students with disabilities is discussed.The article includes his efforts in removing stigma towards people with disabilities, improving education access, and getting rid of Architectural barriersis .There is also an article beneath that discusses the cancellation of a disability course that teaches people how to interact with children with disabilities.
