On the front of this postcard is the front and side view of the Provident Sanitarium in Waco, Texas. The building has multiple stories with semicircular arc entrances and many rectangular windows. The building is orange and white with a cross on top of the green roof. The building is surrounded by a green lawn with a few trees and branches around. On the back of the postcard is labelling direction written in brown ink. The building was established by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul and opened on January 11, 1905. The Sanitarium was later renamed Providence Sanitarium.
