This document contains a series of keynote speeches by The Coalition of Texans with Disabilities (C. T. D.) President, Larry Johnson, on different occasions in 1983. The events include Disability Rally Day held at the Texas State Capitol, the Deaf-Blind Multihandicapped Association of Texas 10th anniversary meeting and C. T. D.’s Fifth Annual Delegate Assembly. A recurring theme in his speeches is the emphasis of creating awareness especially to people with disabilities on how to effect change in their society. He also talks about the slow progress of barrier removal and highlights some of the current achievements.
