This is a letter from Adelaide Horn, commissioner of the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), replying to a letter from John Dycus in regards to the renewal of the Client Managed Personal Attendant Services (CMPAS) program, provided through Helping Restore Ability (HRA). In the letter, Adelaide tells John that she understands his concerns with the decision to not renew a contract with CMPAS. She assures him that the selection of providers is done in a fair and unbiased manner and that it was a requirement to give the opportunity to multiple providers.
