This document consists of the front cover, table of contents, and page 14 of the October 1984 issue of UTA Magazine. Pictured on the cover is UTA student Randy Snow, holding his silver Olympic medal. The article on page 14 covers Snow's participation at the 1984 Olympic Games, which were held in Los Angeles, California.  Snow was one of the eight athletes with disabilities that participated in the event. He participated in the 1500-meter race and won second place; he missed the gold medal for two seconds. Snow’s goal in this participation was to raise awareness about the sportsmanship and skills people with disabilities possess.
