The newspaper article contains the discussion at an Arlington city council meeting held at UTA's University hall, about the Cooper pedestrian traffic.The mayor of Arlington, Tom Vandergriff and some of his coucilmen were in support of depressing Cooper, however the UTA administrators were in support of re-routing cooper street traffic.The mayor stated that things were still open to negotiation but that a decision needed to be made quickly. The writer mentions that the different options were been reviewed by UT Regents and that a recomendation is expected to be made soon.
