Description:

This is a report of the results of a DD grant funded project to identify the top two priority services needed by people with developmental disabilities in the community written by Advocacy, Incorporated. It discusses in detail the four major priority services under the DD Act, which are case management services, child development services, alternative community living arrangement services, and non-vocational social-developmental services.  Public forums were held throughout the state of Texas and people were allowed to rank priority service areas in order of importance to persons with developmental disabilities. The outcome of the surveys was collated, analyzed and presented in this report. It also includes the questionnaire that was used and a list of participants and organization that were involved.
