Description: 

This settlement agreement addresses a plan to correct deficiences at Texas developmental disabilities facilities. It is divided into three parts:

 

I. General provisions

II. Improvement plan

III. Monitoring and enforcement

 

The agreement is between the United States, the state of Texas, and the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. The following developmental disabilities facilities are involved:

1. Abilene State School

2. Austin State School

3. Brenham State School

4. Corpus Christi State School

5. Denton State School

6. EL Paso State Center

7. Lubbock State School

8. Lufkin State School

9. Mexia State School 

10. Richmond State School

11. San Angelo State School

12. San Antonio State School 

13. Rio Grande State Center
