Senior Managing Attorney Beth Mithcell is writing Governor Rick Perry, Commissioner Adelaide Horn, Senator Jane Nelson and Representative Patrick Rose to inform them about the position of the organization re: the U. S. vs. Texas case. In the letter, Mitchell reminds Perry and the others the purpose of Advocacy, Incorporated; advocating for Texans with developmental disabilities that are at risk or in danger in any given circumstance. She is also informing that there was a meeting of the Texas Senate Health and Human Services Committee and the Texas House Human Services Committee where the settlement agreement was discussed. She finishes her letter by letting them know that there is an attachment of the ammendments Advocacy, Inc. suggests and is proposing.
