Jim and Betty Ann Hayes were well known at UTA. Mr. Hayes was head of UTA's first program to assist people with disabilities.Betty Ann was a microbiology major and the wife of Jim Hayes. This magazine spread tells of the life of Jim Hayes and how he helped build the program for students with disabilities on campus. It also tellls he and his wife's story about how they met and how they manage married life.
