This is a Shorthorn article dated September 4, 2019. This issue of the newspaper is Volume 100, Number 32. This particular article is in remembrance of University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) alumnus Juan Angel "Angelo" Rios. Friends and mentors remember him as a kind, funny, and supportive person. He passed away at age 32 at the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Heart Center. During his years at UTA, Angelo seved as a DJ for UTA Radio were he covered information about sports, hosted a music show, and conducted interviews. He was one of the first students to complete his minor in Disability Studies at UTA.
