Broadside promoting an appearance of J. Myrtle Morgan. The advertisement lists the place (illegible), date ("For this day only") and the time (She will be shown from 9 o'clock, P. M. to gentleman, and from 3 to 7 P. M. (by the mother) to the ladies exclusively.")
The document features a drawing of Myrtle and her mother, Nancy Corbin. The mother is standing while Myrtle is seated in what looks like a type of high chair. Aged one year old, Myrtle is wearing a short dress allowing for the prominent display of Myrtle's four legs, a result of Myrtle's dipygus condition, the rarest type of conjoined twinning.
Myrtle's parents defended exhibiting the daughter, claiming money gained would be used to give the girl a thorough education and a competency for life.
There is also a "medical certificate" from Joseph Jones, MD and Paul F Eve, MD which reads: The reality in this case surpasses expectation, and we are of the opinion that this interesting living monstrosity exceeds in its curious manifestation of the powers of nature in abnormal productions, the celebrated "Siamese Twins".
