Description: 

This author of this letter is Dr. Shaw and it is addressed to Mr. Smith Shirley Sue's father and it dates Feb28, 1951. In the letter Dr. Shaw is letting Mr. Smith know that he received his letter about Shirley's health. Mr. Shaw is informing Dr. Shaw  that he is sorry that Shirley is loosing mobility in her left arm; that he understands she must be in pain after the nerve exposure surgery they did, but that they need to apply heat to her arm and to encourge her to use it, even though it may hurt.
